Some of the words we will use on this site may not be known by all. Don’t worry, we have been there and got you!What on earth is the point of this, you may think?
Well, we are guessing that some of you, just like us, don’t know the meaning behind every word or phrase used on this website. At least we didn’t years ago, and we continuously learn new words and phrases as our different experiences expand. We are not referring to everyday words, but the more niche kinds used in for example hiker or diver communities. Or by people working online with no fixed location, also called digital nomads, as we address ourselves as.
This is our way of making it easier for you to look up words or phrases, where you might be unsure of the exact meaning or just haven’t got a clue what for example PCTA stands for, what a Hiker Box is or the true meaning of Freediving.
It would be a big help, if you would let us know, if any words or phrases should be included in the Glossary or any explanations should be elaborated further or written a tad differently.
