Ready to head back to San José in order to go to the Caribbean side, which we had been looking very much forward to. Although, reading on Social Media for the last couple of days, that a huge storm from USA/Canada coming to the Caribbean countries, kinda put a lit on the excitement, but not entirely. Ultimately we were heading for Cahuita and then Cocles, but first a night in San José.
This time, we hadn’t done much research regarding transportation, but instead of taking a small boat to Sierpe (rather not with all of our stuff…), we took the same minibus (this one was leaving at 4am) back towards La Palma but jumped of at Rincon to catch the Blanco bus to San José. Slightly feared if we were gonna make the big bus or not, we were in the end very comfortable knowing, that apparently half the bus needed to catch the same bus.. Silly us for being slightly worried. In the end we were really surprised about how easy it was for us to get to San José from Drake Bay.
San José, not much good to say, so probably better to leave it out. We don’t like San José for a number of reasons, and neither does any local we’ve chatted with. It’s just a necessary passage to get from A to B with public transportation. Only good was our very cheap Hotel Milan and and nice place just across to get some good chicken for dinner.
