Cahuita has been on our must do list since we planned on going to Costa Rica. We were super bummed when we found out about the storm hitting the Caribbean cost, cause we knew it would mean that we couldn’t go snorkeling. Luckily for us, they also do have a very nice National Park just in town with so many different animals and especially the Eyelash Viper Snake was the most impressive sight of the visit. 

Luckily for us, we are going to be staying in Cocles, about 40 min by bus, for 2 months; meaning we will definetely be going back to snorkel once weather improves. 

Weather was very mixed although mostly rain and wind.. As many other things in life, absolutely fantastic homemade ice cream could compensate and make the days – in Cahuita you can find that! Go to Restaurante National Park and try out as many flavors as you’d like, you won’t be disappointed.
