DAY 4 / Costa Rica

As planned we got up and to took the local bus to Quepos, which takes about 10 minutes to the terminal. After Ditte very nicely asked around at the ticket Booth in Quepos in the best Spanish she could, we decided the next stop would be Palmar Norte. From there we were told to get the to Chacarita and then the local bus straight to Puerto Jimenez. Arriving in Chacarita at the same time as the local bus we had to quickly get all our stuff from underneath the bus and run to the other bus 100 meters away. A nice local helped Ditte with her duffelbag as she didn’t have time to get it on. We luckily both made it, and could now finally relax, knowing we would be getting to Puerto Jimenez on the day we had hoped.

We celebrated us getting to Puerto Jimenez on record time with a pizza and a fresh smoothie.
